Camping with a great location. Open all year round. The manager is young and very friendly. There is an excellent restaurant in the camp. Boating places, fishing enthusiasts will be satisfied. Near the camp, 10 minutes walk, there is a nice bus stop if you want to go to Stavanger center. The place was super crowded when we visit therefore we decided to camp in the woods with our tend and just go there for shower. Shower is fine but had a quite a lot of mosquitos around. Anyway was clean and organized and you have 3 min/4min to take shower with coin. If you have a camper maybe the experience would be a little better Very good location not too far from Stavanger. The showers and toilets facilities are very good and new, spotless clean. Perfect camping spot, new and clean! Tommys Kitchen provided an excellent vegan meal for me, off-menu. Can’t thank them enough. Site was decent. Temporary toilet and shower cubicles were good enough for a stopover and good news that it means the main facilities were being renovated. Slight road noise but it was infrequent through the night. Good location on our way to Bergen in the fully electric camper! Everything was exactly as described and very clean. The restaurant could not be tested, as it is closed three days a week and on the other days it closes already at 8 p.m. Since it does not seem to belong directly to the campsite, this does not affect the rating. A nice pitch by the water can be booked, and I even went for a swim at the small beach, although the water was quite cold. The bus stop is within walking distance, making it easy to reach the center quickly. The related app is simple to use and works well. A good and quiet place to stay when visiting Stavanger. Reserved our 2 spots. Paid 100 NOK for each extra reservation and 1000 for 4 days. There were 4 spaces. 2 for campers and 2 for cars. So that we could be closer together we put our campers together and put our cars on the outside. When we went to the and got back some other camper was in our where our cars were parked. We went to ask why was there people in our but got no where. Those people paid as well. We said ok. It's only for one day. Today we went to the again and again there were different people in our space. Absolutely no organization in this camp. Don't recommend or pay when leaving ONLY. 1. The camping site is huge, but there were only few toilets, 2 showers and 1 washing machine and 1 drying machine for us all. Quite impossible to wash our clothes, water in showers in the evening is cold and in the morning crazy hot that we could burn our skin off. And cleaning routine is like 1 or 2 times per day, but that is not enough so be prepared for constant smell in the toilets and showers. 2. No organisation at all. We reserved our spots and paid for the reservation extra money, but day later when we took a trip to we got back and saw, that in our is another camper, our reservation plate is missing and no one can solve the problem. No money returned, no freed. We parked our cars in only-for-restaurant-customers parking lot. The next day we went to again, we got back and saw that the previous family is gone and there are another family in our spot, so the administration didn't took our complaint and let another camper in our spot. So I think that they let people in the places that look empty and they don't have any system to registrate the campers and spots to know how long they stay. I recommend that you pay after your staying. 3. Extra star for the view and calm atmosphere. Answer to reply: we reserved our and how is that possible that you let someone in already reserved place? If that is reserved, it is reserved and there is no possible reason to let another family in. Do you have any database to see spots that are already taken? If you do, then how could this situation happen? It's no matter how we parked our cars, we parked them in our spot, we didn't cross the borders. Basically you took money from us for the spot, then you took money from another family for the same and then again from another family while we were staying there.
