Across the street is a row of pay parking in front of a brick paved park overlooking a stream. It is a charming town at the foot of the famous Mount Blanc and surrounding mountains. For when the weather is nice they have a couple small tables along the front sidewalk, and the also have a larger enclosed patio out back. The front of the building has a black awning with their name in white letters. Above are 4 shuttered windows, but the brewpub only occupies the ground floor. Just inside is a concrete floor bar room with walls of green wood and blue stucco on top of old stone and wood. In one corner is a stuffed badger, which is the name and mascot of the brewery. On the right are a few dining tables and on the left is a 5-stool wooden bar with a front stainless steel tap tower. They have 5 house beers on tap, plus one bottled variety. The beer label incorporates a badger and mountain into one logo. This is the dedicated tasting room for the brewery, but the actual small brewhouse operation takes place in the nearby village of Passy. They beer is available by glass or sampler flight. I found them to be just average, nothing special, but it is nice to try local beer. Also behind the bar are wooden shelves of glassware, liquors and wine. The restaurant has a cafe menu of salads, burgers and sandwiches, and is open all day. Past the bar room is their side kitchen and a larger dining room in back. The place has a neighborly relaxed atmosphere with soft background music. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Rien à redire. Tout est fait maison et a du goût. De l'entrée au dessert on se régale de cette cuisine simple. Bière maison. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Belle terrasse en été au calme. Nog een leuk gesprek gehad met de brouwer. Erg leuke brouwerij. Je kunt hier niet eten en ook geen bier drinken. We kregen naderhand 2 flessen 'underfills' mee en we hebben nog 2 magnum flessen gekocht #supportlocal. Ze maken prima bieren. Patron et employé tres sympathique,tres bon accueil. Un conseil fuyez Endroit très parfois un peu long le service 'mais bon la serveuse est très souvent seule et le bar est plein😁. La bière ne est pas tout le temps régulière au niveau goût la blonde. Pas assez corsée à mon goût manque de puissance. Sinon bonne ambiance. Les bières sont bonnes, je dirais même très bonnes dès qu'on tape dans leurs éditions particulières (la Porter...!). La cuisine est très classique, mais on ne peut rien lui reprocher : c'est de la brasserie à la française qui passe bien. Les desserts sont un peu plus "osés", on a beaucoup aimé la mousse au chocolat au piment, par exemple. Globalement, une adresse à recommander, surtout grâce au personnel qui donne envie d'y revenir ! We ordered the coffee from the lady behind the counter, who was talking to what looked like like the French onion seller from Ello Ello. Elaine asked if we could have our coffee outside?
