One of the bartenders, Vincent, was especially welcoming and made me feel right at home. The is important, of course, but it’s really the people that make the place. I plan on making many more visits to hang with Vincent while I spend the winter in Chamonix We randomly stumbled upon this place and were so glad we did! They have and such a friendly staff! Vincent gave us a few samples to try and they were all so delicious! We ended taking a lot of to go with us because it was so good! The chicken place was closed but looked amazing! I’ve been to Outer Range in Colorado, and the brewed here in Sallanches is just as good. My personal favorite is Park Laps. I also love the comfort food at Chicken Scratch. However, the fried chicken would have been even better if the batter was less greasy. It is a cozy gem with a friendly atmosphere. I visited both in the morning and evening—loved their coffee (perfect cappuccino with a delicious cookie) and, of course, the beers!
