Good if u dont mind cow excretion everywhere... Hard to find parking and quite long distance from the parking to the beach, dont cary heavy things on you. The place is beautyful and the lake shallow. That is just an amazingly beautiful piece of nature, I defo recommend it for a walk, run, or a trip. Beautiful lake, huge trees, lovely trails... Fint ställe! Bra bad som är långgrunt Vacker plats. However the is not clean as there is cow dung all over, and getting to the from the parking area is a bit far. Vacker natur, rymligt, sandstrand och klippor. Flera mysiga stigar. Finns åtminstone en badstrand och där finns dass. Eventuellt behöver du smyga förbi de mysiga korna med kalvar och...en tjur! Tjuren håller ögonen på dig... 😅 Lycka till! Förresten. Bussarna går inte så ofta hit vad jag märkt...så...jag liftade. 🙈 Gick bra! 😅 Vackert och fridfullt. Southern parts with Ekhagen, Morga Hage and Fornborg is very nice. Northern parts are a bit bland at least at the lake walk. Nice walking track through the woods but the is somewhat dirty. There is a bit too much dirt on the sand although it's a sand to Swedish standards. Unfortunately there is no designated bar b q place. It's a pity! The good thing is that since it's a lake, the water isn't that cold and it's kids friendly too as the isn't really deep. One thing to think about is that one must have something to repel mosquitoes. They are damn big and too many. Lots of feces (cow and bird) on the ground; pretty much everywhere. Not really a great place for swimming. Nice sunset view. Cozy surroundings. Ekhagen is one of the most beautiful spots I know. Fantastic 5km loop starting from Sand, taking the ridge out and following the shoreline back - all season are beautiful here but sunset and a low sun hits the lake and trees perfectly. Otroligt vacker plats men periodvis många mygg framförallt på parkeringen och promenadstråket ner till stranden. Anser inte att det är lämplig plats för de allra minsta (under 2 år eller däromkring) pga. allt kobajs. Korna går nämligen ner till vattnet för att svalka sig och dricka på sommaren så finns en hel del kospillning längs stranden att undvika. Med det sagt är det relativt myggfritt vid vattnet i min erfarenhet och det är väldigt långgrunt så mysigt för äldre barn och vuxna. Även toppen för vindsurfing och dylikt. Rekommenderas!
