Super cute place with seatings in a place looking like a garden. (don't know if they have any indoor seatings and how it looks) Unlike many cafés in Sweden, they gave menu and served the food at the table. It was nice to get served, but this also meant that it took longer time to order and get food compared to standard cafés. The food was somewhat expensive. Ok flavours. Loved that the coffee was served in a copper kettle. Very sweet experience - everything in the cafe is in an old style. It is be set quaint and beautiful. The waitresses all wear old fashioned pinafores so it feels really authentic. One thing though is that the strawberry juice is not juice it is a cordial. Peaceful but upbeat garden setting with delightful staff, adorable crockery and accessories and delicious food. My kaffee came in a copper (?) pot, containing at least 2 cups worth. Both the traditional Sigtuna Munk (huge glazed donut) & blueberry pie in a sweet shortcrust pastry with custard were fabulous. I stayed longer than I normally would because it was so lovely to sit in the garden. (Menu in photo is summer 2024 A cozy place to get a proper Swedish fika, a must visit if you are in Sigtuna and want to have a snack Wonderful cafe nestled in old buildings with friendly staff and delicious breads/pastries. No vegetarian options were on the menu but the cafe were happy to create a vegetarian option by ommitting the meat from a sandwich. They are dog friendly and happily provided a doggy bowl. We went during the opening of the Christmas Market and the line was really long so it must be really good, we thought. I mean, it's not that bad, don't get me wrong, but I feel like it's a little bit overpriced. for Fika though. We ordered the Sigtuna doughnut (it was okay) and the Danish pastry and their in-house hot chocolate with cream (the cream was too stiff and it's a lot). Such a cute place! Really coffee, amazing cake, sandwiches and calm atmosphere. I loved coming here and I will definitely be back! Are visiting from Germany and wanted to see the oldest city in Sweden. We take a stop to the cafe and have eaten for breakfast and drank coffee. From order to delivery was about 15 minutes. Coffee and sandwich tasted very good. The only thing to complain about were the chairs. But that can be tolerated considering the year of construction of the building. Very nice, café. Very delicious food, very service. It's like time traveling into the past, with its own charme. Worth a visit. Beautiful place with delicious food and coffee. I highly recommend the blueberry pie It was a place to sit and have coffee and their blueberry pie. Its a place so might want to go there a bit early. Watch out for the narrow ceiling. Its not made for people. My husband says "its almost like a hobbit hole" but hey its the experience thats counts. service, good food and most of all time. The loveliest place we came across in Sigtuna town. The café in the old town, which exists since 1600s, amazing service, nice desserts and for me, the best hot chocolate so far!! 🤎🤎 Highly recommended!! 🩵 Place looks cute and charming.. almost like a little Hobbit town tavern.. all of it deserves 5 stars.. until you see the prices. A bottle of water, a glass of milk, and a tasty but smoked salmon sandwich will run you a whooping €22!
