A truly special place in any weather with the across to Corgarff castle and into the remote areas of the cairngorms , large parking spot to get out after driving over the Lecht and uts definitely a place to stop and take a few moments to drink it in Scenic panoramas of the cairngorm mountain range. Beautiful spot to stop for a gander and a photo. There are a few wee seats and a carved stone. If you happen to be in the area stop here for a look as it is just an incredible sight. Well worth a look. Take a moment to behold as still skies or storms unfold, in sun, rain, sleet or snow, warm your soul before you go Beautiful view.. the drive to this location is beautiful What a truly special place! We found this beautiful spot whilst on gallery deliveries in the Cairngorms. There is a good size parking area with room to stretch your legs. There is a huge rock carved with the words: “Take a moment to behold as still skies or storms unfold, in sun rain sleet or snow, warm your soul before you go” And truly you should.. when traffic is low the silence is astounding… Take a peek through the holes in the rock, drilled with purpose and precision, each giving you a carefully chosen, tiny of the landscape around you. Take a seat in the Watchers - one by one - each faces a different perspective and shows an alternative view… stunning! 2nd visit,....each "pod" here has a wind protected seat in side and face a slightly direction. A great relaxing place to sit and enjoy a beautiful of the Scottish Highlands Another spectacular point. Well worth a stop...😯 A little hazy on the day we visited. We were here on a lovely day and the was stunning. To be able to sit in one of the seats or "Watchers" and just take it in, even for a few minutes is both overwhelming and calming at the same time. We were fortunate that there are not many tourists yet and we had the chance to have some time to ourselves without interruption. I would recommend this place to anybody with a bit of soul or the heart of an artist, it just sucks you in and you don't want to leave. Once you have sat here for a while you can understand the deep emotion that runs in so many Scottish songs. You will have an amazing from here (given the weather is cooperating). The metal sculptures are kind of weird and smell more like a public toilet than a nature viewpoint, but the is nice and it's worth a short stop. There is only place for like 10 cars or so, so if it is occupied, return 10-15 minutes later.
