Great day out only, be aware that it is only in April. Avoid midday to early aftwrnoon entry on a sunny day on weekends, it can be quite busy. The Messer Tulipano is one of a kind event. Go to see the blooming tulips displayed every year. Other businesses make expositions of their goods. On April 2nd the inauguration took place with the mayor of Pralormo and other local authorities. I admired all the tulips that colour the gardens. I was a bit disappointed for the lakes, the water was dirty. There's a margin of improvement. Anyway, it a nice place to visit. Lot's of beatiful tulips, many photos by my wife and i just made this... Loved it. The count of the castle gives the tour (Italian only). And upstairs he has a big trainset! Very interesting but you'll need a good grasp of the language to understand it. Varie bancarelle con la possibilità di acquistare prodotti tipici. Visita al castello un pochino sotto le aspettative. Nel complesso un luogo per passare un tranquilla giornata in compagnia della famiglia. We arrived on 2nd of April to see the tulips and almost no flowers are yet in bloom, nevertheless the advertising is saying opposite. Paid €8 for the entrance and haven't seen nothing. Been there about 5 years ago. Not as an attraction though. We were a group of people coming to help set up a place and activities for disabled children as part of 'Good deeds' day. Don't know who the owner is but I hope you are doing this every year because our team and your place sure made these kids and parents happy. The Messer Tulipano is an amazing event! I had never seen so many beautiful flowers in the same place. It was very easy to arrive from Torino (we took only one bus). The locals were friendly and their English was good. The town of Pralormo is very small, but if you have time I highly suggest going for a walk and seeing some of the farmlands as well. It’s just sad that we spent 10€ entrance fee which is over priced for a little garden and dead flowers.
