This place is very unique, I have been to other but none was like this. So beautiful and the was so friendly and funny,he was speaking in French and English. Best thing that after you go around 221 m down the earth, there is a lift that will take you up. So no stress if you have problems with going up the 😊 We had an amazing here on a hot day. The site is quite large, and houses the aven, a museum and some outdoor activities. We did the guided English tour. Our guide, Gabriel, was the best. Really enthousiastic and knowledgable. He actually was a real joker and made the whole through the aven really fun. He was also willing to answer any questions and did so with humor and fun facts. Gabriel made the very worth while. The aven itself was very impressive and huge inside with beautiful stalactites and stalacmites. It went some 120m deep and it is also possible to do some spelunking and deeper parts of the aven. Parking is readily available and free, with a clean toilet facility. The site is easy to reach from Vallon pont D'arc and, some 20 to 25 minute drive. Charging electric vehicles is also possible, but we did not use that. Really recommended to visit! Fantastic experience. Definitely look around the museum and then cool off down in the aven.
