The club used to be of the highlights of Sozopol for me. (formerly known as Mishel art club, all the older references are from there). The management changed recently so now evenings cost serious money and you are not even informed about a fee when you arrive! The gets very expensive if each concert costs 15bgn, that makes 30bgn for one with half a drink. I was not advised when I arrived that there was a fee. But wait, there is more: When the first concert (of which i only heard one part as I came late) finished we were told - surprise - the next concert is 15 and the previous one was 30bgn. What a total rip off. 45bgn plus drinks for that the customer didn't know about and was not advised beforehand. When we (3 fiends) went to the counter to pay, the lady complained why we couldn't pay together and now she has to make separate calculations, ig work. At that point i had enough and told them what i think about the whole evening. Instead of even listening to me, the young inexperienced lady kept interrupting me with "it's ok, it's ok". No, it's not ok to treat peope lime this. I can't believe it as I am speechless! It is alot of money for Bulgaria and needs to be told in advance. Staff is very inexperienced I think (I have 17 years of experience in this work) and doest have proper training and doesn't know how to behave. For example ud hugging other coworkers infront of clients and running around the establishment. I suggest they train the staff properly. Atmosphere itself is very nice but the waitresses are running so everybody gets nervous amd they are not very friendly. And also they take your drinks half full if you are not careful! The ambience, music and everything was perfect if you want to have a chill night far from the chalga bars. There was a “fee” for the musicians of 5BGN and the drinks prices are also reasonable. Totally recommend the place . Still the one, the only and also the best live club in Sozopol. The most famous and visited one due to perfect bands, music, atmosphere and kind staff. Sozopol, its cozy streets and the sea's incessant song is only the background that can put you in the mood of an amazing spent in Mishel, enjoying live in a relaxed atmosphere where the musicians feel like one of your closest friends. Occassionally during the active season you may enjoy travelling performers or guests to the annual cultural festival Appolonia from all over the world who join the jam sessions of the resident musicians, bringing uniqueness and adding, hopefully, unexpected variety to your listening pleasure. Supplemented with the friendly staff, skillful bartender and their cocktails, you are guaranteed an eventful and memorable in one of the best clubs in Bulgaria. Mishel was very nice, but hard of seating, so it is best to reserve ahead of time. I drank a fine red wine and I highly recommend, it was quite nice. The live adds to the atmosphere, making it a wonderful with friends or family, however the live ends at 12(midnight), and there is a 5Lv(bgn) fee added for each person because of the Live Jazz. Very nice place, would not mind going again. Extremely atmospheric bar. Both the garden and the interior are beautifully decorated with warm lighting. The artists were very skilled and the overall atmosphere was warm and cozy. The waiters were very considerate and accommodating. There were interesting drinks on offer, but they weren't really my cup of tea. I can only recommend the place and would happily come back!
