I stayed here on a driving trip through Germany, it was a highlight of my trip. The food was lovely, I had an evening meal there and also breakfast and didn't really want to leave. The room was good with a shared bathroom which was kept nice and clean. I intend to return back here again when I take my partner back to where she was born. Highly recommended. The young lady who helped me order my meal in the evening is a credit to them as I couldn't understand a word of the menu but she tried so well to help me out. My favorite selection is the gentleman's breakfast. The best burgers on Friday night; everything about the burgers are homemade by their wonderful chef. Brunch on Sunday’s are amazing. Mimosas, homemade jellies, and spread of eggs, bacon, Lachs, bread, and yogurt parfait. Wonderful family owned restaurant!! Glad this is near Baumholder! Bonus, get to see cute llamas and alpacas while you enjoy wonderful food, coffee, and drinks! They also have a lovey gift shop with homemade, sustainably sourced alpaca wear and niche gifts. Amazing food and great ambiance, the coffee is so aromatic. Salad was fresh, pizza done just right. Our second time here and we’re looking forward to being regulars. I've visited a few times. The first time, I was looking for a place to just sit & enjoy a brunch alone. I, initially, felt that I'd been forgotten & waited quite a while. But, when my meal came, it was great, especially the blueberry gnocchi. I, also, left with two 500g jars of honey. The second time the service was faster but they were out of the blueberry gnocchi. That doesn't change how delicious everything is. And, because of how delicious and smooth the honey is, I had to get some for my two besties. I'm sure I'll be back. The drive & from the location is beautiful & calming as is the view at the location. If you're an introvert that wants to escape and just enjoy your meal, pick this spot.
