This is a true Bulgarian 'rustic' style restaurant. It sits on the edge of a small park and is faced by rather unwelcoming apartment blocks...courtesy of the Russian influence from the 50' and 60's. But make this a must visit place for genuine Eastern European cuisine and menus from Greece, Turkey and even some Italian!!! The portions are more than adequate and are priced to suit Bulgarian pockets, so be amazed!!! I had chicken livers, with chips, garlic bread and 2 dark Bulgarian beers and my bill...with tip...came to under 10 Lev or about £4.26 in today's exchange rates!!! Nice place for a small or a big group. Tasty cuisine, fair prices. Local rakia is very good. Local beer is ordinary but nice. Stuff is kind. We had a nice evening outdoors despite attacking mosquitoes. War heute mit Freunden dort. Es wurden extra Tische zusammengestellt. Das Essen war sehr gut und viel. Der Service klasse. However we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the amazing servers there, which were super polite and nice to us and we didn't wait a lot for our food to be put on our table. I will start with the bad because it's only one thing - Indoor smoking since I've started a tour to one of the best tripe soups in the area. This place is a solid contender, and it is pushing hard at top 3 most delicious tripe soups in the area, which in fact, is served with a garlic puree instead of chopped garliv&vinegar(which makes the soup acidic)!. The ladies from the staff are very kind, positive and happy. Another major factor is the Price-Quality. a Pint of native beer, toasted bread sliced and a tripe soup for the incredible price of 3£.! The garden offers thick shade suitable for a hot city like Burgas. The native Bulgarian food is great, and I highly recommend for taste explorers Понравилась механа. Приятное обслуживание очень. Болгарские танцы, атмосфера, все супер. В зале можно курить, я не курю и переживала, но вытяжка хорошо работает, пропала только одежда. С удовольствием вернусь ещё. The waitress is nice enough and tells you what is good to order and what is not Yesterday evening, we, as a group of 12 people, went here. We had a reserved table and got seated. The evening was promising. Because we had forgotten to reserve a seat for 1 more person, the waiter moved a bench for us to sit on, so we can use one of the chairs as an extra. We ordered but shortly after, it started raining. The middle of the table was not covered by an umbrella, so we asked a waitress if something could be done about the people who are not covered. She just asked "oh, it's still raining?" and left us hanging. Luckily after asking the waiter 2 times, we got napkins to wipe the wet bench. Unfortunately, eventually we had to separate the 2 tables, so we could be under the umbrellas. There were a few forgotten orders and one mistaken. Other than that, the service was okay. The food was average, but expensive. One of the people ordered pork ears, which according to them smelled funky but didn't have a bad taste. During the night after, however, they said they were throwing up because of them. After all, a very mixed experience, especially on the service side. I really hope this place can improve! Храната е вкусна, нищо, че не дочакахме всичко, което си бяхме поръчали. Обслужването беше, меко казано неадекватно, не слагам всички под общ знаменател.
