The outside looks very impressive. The inside is decorated in a typical style. The frescos, done by the same artist who did the ones in Alexander Nevski in Sofia, are a bit faded and need to be restored. The inside is not nearly as opulent as others I have seen. The entire building looks like it needs some TLC but it is a wonderful place to visit. A historical and large in the city center. It has become a symbol for the city of Burgas. The is undergoing major renovations since an underground carpark weakened the foundation, a modern by Bulgarian standards. I visited only for the Christmas bazar.
