Moris Farms did not disappoint ! From their welcoming outdoor and indoor atmosphere and even their inviting restrooms 🚻. The wines were unique, flavorful, unique, and distinctive, with clarity and welcoming notes of hospitality and comfort you can usually only find at 🏡 home. Thank you for everything Janie and Julio from Moris Farms for embracing their legacy, their treasured past, future, and unlimited possibilities. What a gorgeous place! We came over from America and set up a tasting with this winery. The location was breathtakingly beautiful. Prettiest place we saw in Tuscany. The sunset there is incomparable. When we arrived it was cloudy and we thought we might miss it, but shortly thereafter it came out and we could see forever. You can see the Ocean and Elba from here, but the trees and vineyards are gorgeous enough even without the sunset. The property is simply stunning--we loved seeing the wild boars nearby. We had a winetasting and they presented us with the best array of delicious wines. So good that most of us shipped a bunch of it home, and my group commented through the week that they had had no better while in Tuscany. They also served a nice cheese and meat board that went way beyond anything we expected. The shop contained their great wines, delicious olive oil and honey as well as other goodies from the area, and includes their newly distilled gin! Janie made our visit educational and fun and we all learned so much about and also about the history of Morisfarms and the area. I wish I lived closer; it would be a beautiful way to relax for a Friday night happy hour surrounded by beauty while the cares of the week float away. Kudos to Guilio and Janie. Do yourself a favor and introduce yourself to this lovely oasis! We visited Terrazza Moris with friends and had such a great night we came back the next night. Great atmosphere, sunsets, wine, gin, and food. We enjoyed spending time with Giulio and Janie and hearing about the history of the estates. We were visiting Italy from the US (KY & MO) and someone in our party knew of the Morisfarms. The winery has gorgeous views! We had a tasting from the owners and loved the taste of the wide variety of wines! We had charcuterie boards with cheese, olive oil and meats that enhanced the wines and were delicious! The owners were charming and so pleasant! We enjoyed the so much, they boxed and shipped several boxes of to Kentucky!! So easy to do too! Highly recommend!! We loved sampling all of the and the food we had there was amazing. I loved that it was all made there or locally sourced. The vineyard is located in a gorgeous setting and is well worth the drive from Florence. It was one of my very favorite experiences on our try to Italy! A day at Terrazza Moris was the ideal way to spend a day in Tuscany! We loved the wine, the food, and felt like we had stepped into a painting. We brought our two young daughters, and they had room to run and play and were treated like family. We have been twice and will most definitely be back again!
