Fiorentine steak mind-blowing, Barolo suited the dinner and atmosphere there Cozy place with friendly staff. The tagliolini di cinghiale were perfectly cooked and the fried chicken with homemade fries was abundant and tasty. The price was not low but I find it justified by the whole experience. The food was good but not exceptional. The wine was very good. The table next to us had a Fiorentina sizzling on a stone platter which filled the whole place with evaporated oil. Went for a dinner, the food was average and the service was awful. I wanted to order the tagliata di manzo well done, the waitress judged me for it so I changed my order to chicche. All of this for them to forget my order, my boyfriend and his parents finished their meal and I was still waiting for mine. We notified a waiter that didn’t even know the chicche was on the menu. When it came, an hour after ordering it I wasn’t hungry anymore and the waitress kept on arguing that it was too early. The worst dining experience I had. We had Dinner in the wonderful restaurant of the locanda. From the quality of the raw materials to the attention of the staff…it was simply a perfect evening. The chef respects traditional dishes, but gives them a modern,lighter twist. The pappardelle and tortellini were sublime snd we still dream of the wild boar!!! Locanda la luna is the place to be is amazing. The chef Emilio is outstanding. His food is from another universe. I recommend everyone to come by if they wanna try the best food in the world.
