Beautiful and very unique with contemporary projections in most rooms telling the story of the monastery and the area. The store at the end is a MUST. It's small but wonderful with local food products and wine with samples with some of the wine makers themselves-- they were so nice and very informative. Beautiful little gem a few minutes out of Madrid. Nice quiet city. Highly reccomend the tour you can get it online line or in person. They heavily invested in the renovations. Lot of history about the legend of the knights A good stopover to see the Monastery...pick up water here and round the front is the MH parking...shaded in the afternoon can park round other side in the morning for shade...large space extremely quiet...no shops in village... Amazing place to visit, go at 4:00 pm or before noon. Very nice to visit. There are guided tours only, and only in Spanish. Beautiful village. Make sure you don't miss the tour.
