Medieval castle with character, is being used as a riding school for school children. Has rooms to let and a restaurant and good parking. Good place for dining!! Great atmosphere amongst the old castle. 👌 Truely amazing stay. The rooms were lovely and also cool despite staying during the summer heatwave. The food was very nice and the staff very pleasant. But the building itself was the true star! Historic but modernised with so much care and attention to detail... it just worked so well. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were staying in this place fork work trip. Hotel is very nice. Hotel rooms are in old building, so- walls are very thick and rooms are very quiet. Another thing- mobile phone is not working inside the buildings because of the thick walls. Also restaurant is nice. Very friendly stuff. Lunch for 7 people cost around 160 euro (including drinks). Around the buildings are some animals- goats, rabbits, cats. Free parking on premises. Really fantastic few days. Clean, great food and staff were really helpful and friendly. Hotel can organise horse riding and horse and cart trips. Also went to Magdeburg for a day to go to the Elpauer Park. Great zip wire and climbing for the kids. Unfortunately didn't get the time to do other things in the area, so would go back for more days. Definitely recommend it. The kids also loved staying in a proper castle.
