Ho scoperto questo simpatico ristorante adesso, anche se sono anni che vado a Vasto per le vacanze. Situato a Chiauci e portato avanti a conduzione familiare, vi ritroverete a mangiare come una volta. Pasta fatta in casa, salumi e formaggi artigianali. Materie prime di ottima qualità. Gentilissimi il proprietario e la ragazza di sala. Da ritornare. We arrived at the destination from another small village starving. We were a bit sceptical and kinda anxious, knowing that there were only regulars and beetween friends, and we, just strangers, speaking just a bit of italian. They asked for rezervation wich we dis not have, but happily there was room for us. We were lead to our table. The service was very good, the waiter tryed to understand us with his little english knowlege, and us understanding him with our little italian knowlege. We ordered, the food came kinda fast (the pizza) and the pasta 10 minutes later. The pizza was really good( especially the pizza noci) but the pasta carbonara was a bit off, the egg was cooked, it was like you were eating pasta with scrammbled eggs. The people around was intensly staring at us, i think for just beeing strangers, that was very unconfortable. We were served later than 2 tables that arrived later than us. So, if u are hungry, go. If u want to have a nice and relaxing experience, dont go. Ottimo ristorante così come i ristoratori stessi che gestiscono in maniera eccellente il locale, sia le pietanze che le pizze sono curate e di qualità. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzi e questi ultimi inferiori a locali simili. Nel complesso non ho trovato nessuna pecca nonostante la carenza di personale dipendente come ovunque nei piccoli paesi. Ci siamo capitati quasi per sbaglio, ma è stata la cena migliore di tutta la vacanza! Sono contentissimo di aver conosciuto la chef e il personale di questo elegante ristorante, nonché di aver gustato la loro cucina e le loro pizze, ottime anche il giorno dopo (perché non siamo riusciti a finire tutto). Un prezzo veramente concorrenziale per un cibo squisito con ingredienti di qualità. Non dimenticheremo la cortesia e i consigli, oltre che il pasto in sé: li abbiamo seguiti (Agnone e il Monastero stupendi), quindi grazie ancora. Tutta roba casereccia, ottimi i ravioli di ricotta e noci, li consiglio, pallotte cacio e uovo belle e abbondanti, vino ottimo. Siamo andati per pranzo e abbiamo mangiato deliziosamente, primi delle tradizione molisana. Tartufo, porcini, caciocavallo, verdure., arrosto…tutto fatto in casa e saporito! I dolci.. spaziali!
