The dish was beautifully cooked & delicious. The queuing system was very confusing its not clear where the queue begins & ends, its obviously used by locals alot but strangers are abit lost as to protocol. Fish and Chips delicious with curry sauce, much better than the fish & chip shops in Workington. Kung Po chicken very nice. Quick and helpful service. Turned up, placed my order and it was ready in less than 10 mins. The food was amazing, by far the best Chinese I've had since moving to the area from a large city. It's a shame they don't have crispy seaweed, but I think that's a southern delicacy so I won't hold it against them. Food was nice as usual but portions have shrunk salt n pepper chicken the box was only half full rice portions have been reduced as well and the price has gone up They are closed until 21st August 2025 for summer holidays. Honestly this place is normally excellent but recently standards appear to have slipped. In our two most recent orders we have had 2 missing items and tonight we were treat to a portion of chips that has magically shrunk in size by about half from last time (we literally had 8 chips each X 4), cold mushy peas, 2 cold fish which again had shrunk by about half and then our particular favourite was 2 hot and yet uncooked sausages. What on earth has happened!! Look at the state of the fishcake! £2.30 spent on mush! Thanks for the reply. Dear Kowloon, the fishcake was squashed inside the box with chips, when my mother moved the fishcake it broke into pieces (she had to remove from the box and try to put it back together so it was edible! This is constructive criticism, maybe it was one that had been reheated from lunchtime, however, suggesting she mushed it herself….shame on you (that is not good from a business). when a pensioner is treating themselves and is faced with that then you have to be told.
