Course design is OK except for the greens; too many are very strangely shaped giving a miniature feel. It’s very flat and not very well maintained. Perhaps worth playing once later in the spring when presumably the course should be in better condition. Played again in early summer and the course was not in better shape. Downgraded from 3 to 2. Ok, not the best course in the world but better than expected after reading reviews. Very flat, a bit awkward finding some holes, needs better on course signage, a bit rough but all in all a day out. But I left my wedge on 9 green. 3 mins later we backtracked for it. The guys behind us said some worker in a cart drove by and picked up and drove away. Whoever picked it up never turned it in. Its not an amateur club. Its a custom grind and shaft Titleist Spin Milled. We should have drove 20 minutes more and played G-----. Never again. Played Friday 1st Sept, the Tee Boxes ok, Fairways generally very good, course layout very good. The bad, the are disgusting all need ripping up and replaced,would be better off to put 18 temp and do the the repair, bunkers are terrible and water hazards have no water. A shame as played course earlier in year and a lot of work was being done but it has rapidly gone downhill. Played at the start of March. Friendly club with some holes, there isn't many where water doesn't come into play. I had seen the previous reviews regarding the condition of the but have to say that the were in great condition, post lock down. Well worth playing and great value for money. I look forward to playing it again soon! Played there 6 times over last 3 months,very forgiving course but still challenging.Lakes mostly dried up but when full course gets a bit tricky.Friendly staff and deals available weekdays in Summer months.Limited buggies(only9) however flat course and trolley friendly.only negative is quality of food in restaurant.I am high handicapper so course suits me well.Plan to go there on regular basis,societies and clubs made to feel very welcome by manager Carolina. They gave us bags with no shoulder straps and had no push carts. After the 2nd hole we realized they were mixed clubs mens and women's the course was in ok shape but unfortunately some of the other members were total A-holes to us being American one guy freaked out at me on the putting green another was yelling at my son while he was chiping on the 9th green so the patrons there that day were very un gentlemanly. Clubhouse had more shirts and clothes than tees and balls I would never play this course I think you can do way better I was overall disappointed. Like even the worst course in america has driving carts and pushcarts to use and even if they have shitty rentals at least they are full sets of mens clubs i didn't see any grounds people either so that was wierd but it is spain. Course layout is ok. The condition is terrible. Caddymaster did not mention to me how bad the condition of the and bunkers. See photos attached. I paid for 18 holes, walked off after 9 and requested a refund. They refunded the difference from 18 to 9 holes. Grren side bunkers with grass up to your knees. Very disappointed. The tee boxes are so long that you can only just about see your tee 🤦‍♂️ and the are not any better, very patchy and weedy. The fairways are ok and lay out is not bad either especially the back 9, but overall disappointing and won’t be returning anytime soon.
