However, we know that cost of living is increasing, but the prices here are astronomical. It is ludicrous that one has to pay £2 for two small cob lettuces for example. Thing is farm shops used to be able to charge this if they were the local option, and saved people a significant trip into a supermarket, however this doesn’t really cater for a community as such and just serves the purpose of people who have forgotten something on way back from the many cheaper food outlets nearby. They have a reward system that gives one a measly £10 after spending a massive £300!! They obviously make a lot of money so how about giving something back to the shoppers in these more difficult times. I expect there to be further price increases as the year progresses, I also expect there will be a tipping point where the loyal and slightly wealthier customer may even start to raise an eyebrow. Really lovely shop, but quite pricey. I wish it was more reasonable, I'd buy a lot more. I now go to Swiss farm butchers for my meat. Lovely things in there, but I guess it is all relative. Rip-off........ got moldy bread would of bought it back if you had of given me a recipe but bet that's tax reasons 🤔 A nice place to get coffee and cake. Over priced, fruit and veg, poor quality, we try to support local businesses whilst on holiday in Suffolk, our favourite county, but alas not here. This shop is the best place to buy things to make you feel happy, or even better, other people happy! The staff are so friendly and everything from essentials to gifts are displayed so beautifully. And their 'own brand homemade' is the best... apart from the cakes in the cafe, they are even better. Definitely worth a visit or two or many! A wonderful foodie haven offering a combination of fabulous local produce and other excellent options from further afield. Plus delicious cakes baked on site. The staff are always friendly and helpful and seem to really know what they’re talking about which is refreshing! The cafe is well worth a visit too - a well thought out menu, food always seems very fresh and homemade.
