Lovely clean pebble beach. Public toilets and bench seats. No dogs allowed on the May - September. Selection of small boutique shops selling quality goods. Street parking allowed for 2 hours with traffic warden on site. Public car park at top of beach. Short walk into town. Aldeburgh is a must when in Suffolk. Gorgeous seaside with a promenade. We walked from the car park right along. It was smashing to see all ages enjoying the beach. There was a raised area with water, and you could hire little electronic boats to try and manoeuvre. for entertaining children or anyone for that matter. We enjoyed watching. A good selection of local shops to browse. motorhome campervan friendly ..which is unusual if every little adopted this method of designated free space to visit and SPEND money for the local shops .! full of shops couple of pubs and a good art community.. Lovely beach, we parked near the Clam Shell in a very good car park accessible for our Motorhome. We walked into the along the beachfront and then into the town. The is clean, and the shingle shelves down in stages to the sealine. There are seafood and sellers along the front towards the and plenty of seating to sit and take in the views. The along Aldeburgh coast is very pebbly.although kept very clean.there are protected areas to keep the wild foulage safe. You can only take dogs on at certain times of year which was disappointing. You get the odd angler casting also.the sea is quite rough too but doesn't stop people swimming.
