Forest, water, shade, fresh air, clear water to swim in and drink...a magical place. Walk is fantastic, all sheltered by trees and along a vigorous river. Bugs were not too aggressive, many of the turns were enchanting. The falls themselves were fun to see, exactly what a proper shower is supposed to look like. We mistakenly heard the guy with a flyer at the entrance saying that the restaurant was 200m from the falls, in fact it’s more like 3km so if you happen to want to walk from the falls up to the restaurant, be prepared. The restaurant was recommended but we had such a dismal experience it was almost comical, perhaps they were having an off day. At the very least abandon all hope of a quick lunch, best to bring a large book. It's small but nice. Quite a quet place. 2 giant local dogs guided all over the trip. I think they used to get food from visitors. On the way down, they scared wild 🐗 so made their duty 20 years off on every dip into this waterfall!
