Jó látni hogy meg is becsülik az ide látogatók. Very nice places here to visit, restaurants. Cafe, ice creamery. The park is very nice, bridge leads to a nice bigger park. Bike friendly Roosevelt Square (Roosevelt tér) is one of Budapest’s most picturesque and historically rich public spaces, perfectly blending grandeur with a relaxed atmosphere. Located along the Danube, it offers stunning views of the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle, making it a must-visit spot for both tourists and locals. Highlights: ✔ Iconic Landmarks – The square is framed by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Gresham Palace (now a luxury Four Seasons Hotel), and the statue of Ferenc Deák, a key figure in Hungarian history. ✔ Perfect for Photos – With the Chain Bridge and riverfront as a backdrop, it’s ideal for sunrise or sunset shots. ✔ Great Vibe – A mix of tourists, street performers, and café-goers gives it a lively yet sophisticated energy. ✔ Central Location – Steps away from the Duna Corso promenade, Vörösmarty Square, and tram/bus stops. Best Experiences: Enjoy coffee at Gerbeaud Café (just nearby) or a drink at the Four Seasons’ terrace. Walk along the Danube at dusk when the bridges and castle are lit up. Visit the Academy of Sciences for its beautiful architecture and occasional exhibitions. Drawbacks: Can get crowded during peak tourist hours. Limited seating compared to other squares. Verdict: A must-see for first-time visitors and a lovely spot for a peaceful stroll. Whether you're soaking in history, admiring the views, or just people-watching, Roosevelt Square captures the essence of Budapest’s charm. Just next to the bridge that connects new Szeged with old Szeged, it's a nice play area for kids in the summer. Fantasztikus látni a sok kisgyermeket ahogy jól érzik magukat. Friss ivóvíz kút, sok játék, a Tisza mellett. Igazán igényesen kialakított park. Really liked and enjoyed our visit here. Our kids loved the place. Thank you Szeged. Thank you Hungary. Nagyon szép főleg esti világitás 3x ekkora játszótér kellene erre a térre! Mivel a belvárosban ez az egyetlen értékelhető játszótér, mindenki IS ide hozza a csemetéjét... Így nagyon túlzsúfolt a játszótér. Élet-halál harc folyik a játékokért. Beautiful place to chill, shop or just walk Amazing playgroung. Great place for kids and parents. Popular Playground for the kids. The big trees provide shades even hot sunny days. Beautiful square, extraordinary when water fountain is working. One of my brothers is living right here at this square. So a standard destination for me when visiting my family in Szeged. Great playground on the side of Oskola street and a good icecream shop calles Palánk! Kiváló gyerek játszótér. Perfect, first class fish soup, one of the best in the country. Dark shade on the restaurant is the rude, regardless service. Perhaps the waiters are overloaded, or they are just morous...since I experienced unacceptable attitude towards the guests twice in 5 minutes, I am pretty sure it is there some kind of routine. Dear friends, it has to be rectified! Nagyon szuper játszótér. Biztonságosnak mondható és nagyon jó helyen van Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
