Good food in an informal environment at very reasonable price. Best discover of the trip to Normandy. If we hadn't been eating in France for nearly two weeks when we went to this restaurant, it probably would have received a higher rating. The staff were really friendly and we enjoyed the casual, homey atmosphere. However, the food (compared to all the other places we ate) was merely ok. Nothing really bad, just nothing really amazing. The style (not an all-you-can-eat-American buffet; you get one plate and put whatever you want on it from the salad bar as your first course and then they bring you what you ordered for your main course and then they have a dessert bar where you can take whichever dessert looks best to you) was a fun change from the other restaurants we ate at and it was fun to have a wide variety of options to sample. Good quality tasty meals, service and friendly staff. It's a Roadside Diner, so don't go expecting cordon bleu, and you will have a time. Steaks are always tender, wine is always good. What more could you ask for? Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The menu cost 12 € where you choose a main and a dessert and for the entre there is a where you can choose what you want. Food was. Delicious and incredible value for money. A great, almost family-like style of cuisine and a huge entrée buffet. Though the whole system of ordering from the menu was a bit confusing, the food itself was delicious, especially the Entrecôte and the various items with the homemade bread. Table d'hôte style café with hearty portion sizes and an appetizer buffet. It seemed to be popular with the locals. The gave us the opportunity to experience more dishes than we otherwise would have. The salads and main course were decent, and the crème brûlée was phenomenal. Excellent food and service! A salad bar! And the deserts are great! Same warm welcome, same choice of simple quality food but now with rigorous measures implemented to protect staff and customers in these difficult times. Thorough cleaning +social distancing +one way system. work by the team.
