Didn’t go into the grounds as we had a dog with us but it looked beautiful and there were some nice walk trails we could do separately that didn’t require entrance. We went and had a look around the Abbey a few years ago. Like anything historic like this, you really need a guided tour to learn the history and a few stories. Usually, however, we just go on one of several little walks. nearby to the Abbey. It is an extremely scenic area and you do get some superbly pretty blue dragonflies in the summer, near to the river. Promise un temps à la destruction, ce sont à la fois grâce à la passion d’une famille et à la motivations d’évêques, que cette abbaye existe encore aujourd’hui.
