Classic mountain hut located at about 2,000 meters, inside the risotrante is not very large, you have to make reservations in order to sit down to eat. Courteous staff, average food, very good cold cuts and cheeses, the rest normal nothing exceptional. Prices a bit high. Great accommodation. Staff was very nice and helpful (even if we arrived after 10pm) It’s quite a hike to get there but the view along the way is amazing, makes you forget how hard the route is. The area is spectacular but we arrived too late and was already past meal time and the kitchen no longer served food so all we could get was some cold and plain sandwich... also they don’t take any plastic so bring enough cash!!!! Otherwise you will end up like us... we barely had enough coins in our pockets to buy coffee. Really nice and cosy place, good food, though the breakfast is (or just was that time) only jam and Nutella with drinks (coffee, tea) and the shower is operating on a 2e coins 4 min each. Considering it's not that cheap as it is, that extra is kind of not adequate. All in all, good people, hikers, pretty surroundings and nice wine Superb Rifugio! Great host and super friendly staff.
