Interior of the museum is really interesting - worth a visit. Be careful about opening hours and best phone one day earlier. This fort/castle is very unique, half of it is medieval, from early 15. century, and the other, front part and inner side parts are baroque, from 18. century. Inside there is a museum which represents how the ownera of the castle from the 18. century up to 1945. lived. There is a lot of original furniture, books and pictures. In the price of the 15 kn (2€) ticket, a visit to the medieval round fort is also included, which is amazingly preserved. Also, you can enter a small church/chapel which was used for religious purposes by the noble family who owned the fort. Chapel is redone in baroque style with a vault done in amazing detail. Everything is guided by a very expert museum guide, who is also very friendly.
