The overall experience was very good and relaxing (for that my four stars) BUT the was filthy. Everything was dusty, lots of the kitchen utensils were dirty and the sofa had dogs hairs on it. On arrival the smelt strong like smoke - don’t know if it wasn’t used for a while or what but it wasn’t pleasant. The floors didn’t look swept and it wasn’t the best first impression. Its quite a price for two nights- we expected a lot more for our money. I get that its about going back to basics and whatever but they expect you to strip the beds before you leave, clean up and put your rubbish in the bins in the parking lot when you leave and they will fine you if its not done. We expect even salt, pepper, oil and the cooking basics in the kitchen but there was nothing. We ordered the Adult Barbecue for 29€ - it was a big disappointment. The salad was inedible as it was so old and brown, the grated potato rosti was so bland and the condiments they gave us were out of date. It was just so overpriced. The areal was beautifully done and well spread out. There were beautiful walks and bike rental. We stayed here for 4 nights during the last week of September 🍂 and once again had a lovely experience – this was actually our second staying here ✨. The cabins are cosy, simple, and well-made 🏡. You have everything you need, mostly the basics, which makes it a comfortable place to enjoy quality with family, ones ❤️, or even pets 🐶 (our dog absolutely the fresh air and being surrounded by 🌿). The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful 🙌, making us feel welcome right away. Food can be ordered directly at reception 🍽️, and for those who like to cook, the supermarket Match is just a short drive away 🚗 and has excellent fresh food. That being said, there is still room for improvement. Adding air conditioning ❄️ and hot in the kitchen 💧 would really make the much more comfortable, especially as new cabins are appearing in the German market 🇩🇪 and competition is growing. Overall, it’s a peaceful and cosy place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy in 🌟. We’ll always have good memories from our stays here.! We had a great time—loved the whole experience! I truly felt like a Viking out in nature. The was super cozy, definitely kid- and dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Our chalet had a private hot tub and a nice barbecue area. Mornings were perfect for taking peaceful walks or getting some light exercise on the nearby paths. At night, you could sit by the fire or stargaze in a designated area—it felt magical. Now for a few downsides: 1. The was extremely cold for washing hands. 2. I have sensitive skin, and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere that the for washing dishes would also be cold. There were no gloves provided, and we weren’t informed to bring any.3. One of our pillows had holes in it—possibly from an insect, which wasn’t great. That said, it’s still a very cozy and cool chalet, perfect for hanging out with ones. Just make sure to bring your own food for the barbecue, pack gloves if you’re sensitive to cold water, and you’ll have an amazing time!:….:)🫠 We enjoyed our at this nice glamping spot at Nutchel Alsace! The was advertised for 6 people and worked perfectly for our group of 3. However, I'd note that 4-6 adults would likely find it quite cramped. The hot tub was a wonderful addition and the natural environment around the property is beautiful. The cooking facilities were excellent - the gas stove and grill made meal preparation very easy and convenient, rather than having to rely solely on a wood stove for cooking. The staff were very helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. One thing to be aware of: the breakfast baskets are tailored differently for kids vs adults. Adults receive eggs and yogurt, while children get sweet müsli and sweet bread instead. It's a nice touch that they customize it, but good to know in advance for planning purposes. Overall, a lovely getaway spot. We had an unique in a for 2 people with hot tub. We were lucky to spend some days with snow in the cozy cabin, what made our even more comfortable. Thanks to the wood stove, the hot bottles and the blankets we did not feel cold at all. The equipment in the in general is really good, you just need the bring your own spices and oil, but all the dishes, etc. are already there. We also liked all the small details, like the candles, decoration, fairy lights ... :) We were using the sauna 3 times as well. The only thing that could be improved from our point of view is to have a small area to spend inbetween using the sauna instead of just waiting outside or going back to the cabin. The crew was super friendly and helpful, the small shop and the offer for getting a raclette or breakfast basket or just stuff from the bakery is super cute! Thanks for your love in detail, that makes your place really special :) This was our second at Nutchel Alsace, and it won’t be our last. It’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy meaningful with your ones. The cabins have everything you need while still bringing you back to the basics and offer privacy. Having to think about whether you’ve got enough wood for heating or boiling before doing the dishes helps you detach from the usual fast-paced routine and embrace a simpler way of living. The surroundings are absolutely lovely. You can spend hours hiking, and no matter the weather, you’re encouraged to get outside and immerse yourself in nature. The Nutchel team deserves a special mention too, they are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. One of the highlights for us was the path: moving between the sauna and the cold pool became a daily ritual we absolutely loved. Nutchel is a place that leaves you refreshed and recharged. Our second has only deepened our love for it, and we know we’ll be back again. Hopefully there will be EV charging stations at our next visit! We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The "Nest" was wonderful, dreamy and cozy. I was impressed with how cleverly the was designed. It was a perfect combination of being close to nature, "back to basics" and yet clean and high-quality. The location is great as well. We will definitely return!
