Lovely place, but services are very bad. Our apartment was not clean (they sent someone to clean the apartment, only after we complained about it), we didn't have bedsheets even though we paid extra for having them (they sent them only after we complained about it), we didn't have towels even though we paid extra for having them (we received the towels only after one day, after we complained twice about not having towels). Reservation process is tricky, they are advertising apartments with nice balcony, but we got one apartment with one ugly terrace (apparently this is what we paid for). The local manager (Monsieur le Directeur) will ask you to contact him via the VVF Call Center if you are not happy with the provided services and you would like to have your money back, but from the call center you will receive answers like "can you please provide more details?", and you are made aware that it can take up to 60 days until you will receive an answer. We have been coming here for the last few years. The accommodation is good, self catering small houses (there are some bigger houses that are much more comfortable, they sleep 6), but htere are no services. The village is only 5 mins down the hill and you can find everything to buy. There is also a very nice swimming pool on the premises. The best thing is the nature around. There are many beautiful walks to do for all levels, in the forests, etc. Also by car you can access many pretty villages around the Alsace, Lorraine and Vosges area, some of them in wine country. Not very touristic, although there are places that are more busy than others.
