Dropped in here for lunch. It has a large carpark with loads of space and the place wasn't busy on a friday. options are with some vegie options and a reasonably priced.Service was good, food was good, would highly recommend. We did find it funny the amount of signs this place has, especially the bad language and no tee-shirt policy. The wife and I stopped for a drink later one afternoon. The were friendly. The beer was good. A atmosphere in the pub. local pub with a menu. choice of real beer, too. The food was very nice, although not much for vegans. Falafel salad was tasty, and the scampi was enjoyed too. Dog friendly, which is a bonus. Right in the centre of the village, lovely location. We stopped in for a drink and possibly food. However it was WAY to warm inside! And the prices were a little high. selection of drinks though Pleasant pub with a selection of drinks available. I did not try the food but the looked interesting. The service was very good. were and polite - nothing was too much trouble. Wow! And Wow! Again really felt at home as soon as we walked in. were amazing, and we felt like we were part of the family straight away. Cannot recommend this amazing country pub/restaurant/B&B its outstanding. Thank you one and all keep up the work. Jim n Mary. A wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a quaint little town! The service is fantastic, the are super and extremely helpful. The food is delicious and it has a pub and patio as well. Highly recommend the Full English Breakfast, the Sausage & Mash, and the Sunday Roast! Breakfast is included when you at the B&B. It’s very convenient that they also offer a take away breakfast box if you don’t want to have a sit down breakfast. The rooms are also very comfortable. Awesome place for a meal, drinks, or to a few nights! pub - slightly dated / plain decor, but a hidden gem. Delicious menu, service and staff. Perfect as a stop just off Junction 18 of M1. We stayed here whilst going to the Crick Boat Show on Saturday 24th May 2025. Positives in my opinion - location, staff, clean comfortable rooms, to hear the church bells chime on the hour which is situated behind the pub, food and breakfast which is included in the price of the room.Accessible rooms available with walk in shower. Co-op opposite for amenities. Negatives in my opinion - parking limited no blue badge spaces, pillows were basic and shower is a rainfall one so not as powerful to wash your hair is needed. Definitely more positives so would recommend to and eat here as lovely atmosphere and food was delicious. Perfect for attending the Crick Boat Show as less than 10 mins away! To sum up, will again :) Had diner here and what a surprise on the specials board was Bobotie never seen it on any before , have had it home made and wow it was really , recommended, where and pub, super welcoming and a relaxed atmosphere. Beers are and the is varied with a selection to please everyone. Have eaten here several times due to working nearby and it's the go-to choice in Crick. Had a wonderful night celebrating my birthday at The Wheatsheaf. were fabulous and attentive. Big shout out to Courtney who learnt were quickly how to make a modified espresso martini. Thanks to James and Di who made us all very welcome from start to finish. Really time and reminded me of the soul of British pubs. Situated in a lovely village close to Rugby. The hotel are welcoming, they can’t do enough to make your as enjoyable as possible. The restaurant is modern and offers a varied menu, plenty of choice for everyone and reasonably priced too. The rooms are comfortable especially the bed, they are serviced extremely well in every way although a little tired. We have stayed there three times so far and booked again at Christmas so that must tell you something!!! 4 of us had Sunday lunch there today. But after 9 years of eating there today all 4 roasts were shocking! Miniscule proportions and everything was dry like a microwaved meal. The Brussels sprouts were so soggy, as if they were frozen sprouts. The cheese board had walnuts but hardly any celery and no grapes. Plus I've seen more cheese in a mousetrap!! This is only the 2nd time in 9 years we have had such a poor meal. The restaurant was nearly empty at 16.00 and I can see why based on our meal. We had booked for Christmas Eve but will be cancelling that tomorrow. My friend tried to pay his portion of the £140 bill with a £50 note and was the told they didn't accept those. A really poor dining experience for what was supposed to have been a special night meeting friends for our Christmas catch up. We live in Crick but won't be going back! Outstanding service, lovely warm room. Courtenay makes wonderful espresso martini’s (highly recommended). service from James, Di and the rest of the team.
