Clean well organised loved it The size is great though there should be a limit on number of allowed, even as a safety policy. There should also be someone ensuring that only toddlers/young are within the build. Too many times I've seen young teens amongst it, barging around between young kids. Had a great visit here today with a 5yo and a 9month old. Both had a fantastic in their respective areas. were and attentive and the coffee was very nice. Food looked good too. Will certainly return. Great place to take the kids, lots of fun, excellent customer service, recommended foe families All family love the place. Is enough big have everything to make the busy and parents relax. Good food and love going are so great place to meet friends and have a coffee and safe for to great to have a birthday party x Love this place! Its a decent place but honestly i don't think we will go again. - the food options are quite limited and has a lot of dairy options but not much of anything else (don't even bother looking if you are vegan or dairy/lacto free as i didnt see anything if much safe) - i also seen a fair few say that paid £5 to get in and got a free snack bag but we paid to get in and had to pay extra for the snack bag - they constantly go on about "allergy safe zones" (essential all the areas) and watch you like a hawk especially if you have food or your kid walks about with food in their hand then tell you off if the gets even slightly near the area even when you are right there watching them and stopping them getting too close - the baby bit is height restricted and you have to push a buzzer for to let you in which is the stupidest thing ever and most essentially wont even be allowed in after probably 2 years of age either due to that - we also went in and got told they were closing at 2 but then they told us all they were closing at 1 all of a sudden so we didnt even get a lot of to for what we paid Just love visiting Monkey Madhouse with my grandchildren. Great value for money, lots to keep the happy, fantastic coffee and a good selection of food 😀. Same and the team are lovely 😍. Get yourself there Absolutely love this place. are extremely friendly, and the is a superb area for our daughter to interact with different aged children. Please bring cash to help the business flourish; we have a little jar to one side to save our bobs throughout the week. Our 2 year old Nephew absolutely loves it here, and very reasonably priced. Not allowed to bring your own food (due to allergens, I get that) but the only baby/toddler snack available is a banana (or an apple!! 🤩). When I asked what snacks they have for babies they listed a number of chocolate bars and high salt crisps. I pointed out that these aren't suitable for babies/toddlers and the girl got stroppy with me. I said 'I'm not complaining but just providing feedback' but she was done with me by that point. If you're not allowing own food, at the very least provide options for young that won't give them diabetes or cause heart disease later in life. I'm sorry for a negative feedback but your staff's response to a reasonable comment was quite immature and unprofessional. The was fine, not great for younger toddlers who are just starting to walk. Christmas party was brilliant, crafts and Santa grotto! my daughter loved it, are super nice and helpful, always smiling. The owner always makes us feel welcomed. Would 100% recommend 👌🏻🤩 As much as the new baby corner could be a nice addition. The prison cell style door button needs reviewing as I was stood holding a baby for a number of minutes waiting to be let in and when I then found ot easier to let myself in they were kicking off with me which I had to walk away from them for there sake. This left me feeling very uncomfortable the rest of my there. Adults are perfectly capable of letting them selves through a door the button should be on top of the wall not 3 ft inside the area. It would still stop bigger getting in. at monkey madhouse are so lovely,Sam and Kayla have outstanding customer service so helpful, friendly, and professional Every where is clean lovely lattes And have a safe fantastic time😊 Monkey Mad House is definitely one of the best plays in Cumbria! It’s always clean and well-organized, with super — and the owners are such a lovely family who truly care about everything. They always treat both and parents with kindness and warmth. Highly recommended! Extremely disappointing. Drove 45 minutes to visit, the website says up to the age of 12. My daughter is 8 years old with autism. We arrived to be told she isnt allowed in because she is tall. So well done for leaving an autisic child distraught!! Was basically told off for taking my son up on the play, considering he can’t walk I don’t see how else he was going to get up there ….. or atleast if that’s still not aloud make sure it states not suitable for disabled …. And again today my other son stuck at the top and wouldn’t come down and I’m shouted at like a child Infront of a full place of people woman’s attitude stinks. We visited Monkey Madhouse this week whilst on holiday in Cumbria for a week from Scotland. We looked for a for the and decided to give this one a go and it was so good we returned for a second time! Incredibly clean, high quality hot drinks, homemade baking (peppermint slices were delicious!) and the owner (sorry I didnt catch her name) was so friendly, helpful and personable. Even remembering us enough to ask how our holiday was going second round and offering what information she could on the local area. The absolutely loved running around this which has a variety of areas including a mini football pitch! The large blue slide was a hit with all the too. The cleanliness of the toilets worth a mention too absolutely spotless and unlike most other plays you dont need to worry about whether what your touching or standing on is clean - they were absolutely spotless. Congratulations to the owner on her business, I could see how first hand how much effort goes into maintaining high standards. Thanks for a brilliant couple of visits and your hospitality. Would have no hesitation returning in the future if ever in the Workington area. Absolutely excellent quality for the money. I was dubious about after going to a different one and it was awful. From start to finish this deserves five stars. It doesn't feel too crowded after limiting numbers even after restrictions have lifted meant even parents of the older could keep a good eye on their and my son could enjoy the toddler section without being overrun. For £5 he got unlimited and a snack bag (sandwiches, a drink crisps and sweets) the coffees etc were very reasonable so my partner got to sit on the sofa, enjoy his latte and watch us playing for hours. The are pleasant in person and on Facebook booking the slot and it's very clean with lots of tables behind the sofas. We're already planning to have our sons second birthday there and I'm sure will be spending a lot of the winter there burning off energy. Discrimination against special needs children. Didn’t let the parents even be with their so it’s safer. And wouldn’t even let an autistic child in the playhouse Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
