Just used the car park. Pay and display. Was in a good location Fantastic facility for Workington. Nice pool, big gym and sports halls. There are lots of classes run there too. Only negative is gym change gets a bit too warm. Easy parking. Friendly and nice instructor Gym OK no swimming available despite being advertised. But timed it badly I think. Fantastic showers but gym facilities a bit tired in places. Could be Good, very poor management of the site, no water, no showers since the 23/12; keep saying will be back on Monday... Which Monday? Disaster Great place rock climbing walls and great swimming pools however they don't have a phone line which is a bit sketchy. Play badminton here every week The booking system, cancellation policy and forward planning for the needs improvement. Had to set nets up many times as they are rarely ready Really nice facility clean and nice gym with Squash courts too (these seem to be disappearing elsewhere), also done a couple of classes with Ben and Rhiannon are great instructors, positive and encouraging, highly recommended. I used to go David Lloyd in Leeds and it was not a patch on Workington Leisure Centre, which has state of art facilities, including pool, courts, sauna, steam room and massive well-equipped weights rooms, all well as all manner of machines for physical well being to improve strength and endurance. The vibe is top notch, the team are great and available to help, the place is spotless, everybody there gets their head down and grafts away. It opens early and closes late. Waste of time card only Have to sign up to go in To get a shower have to purchase a gym session and car park that's another story avoiddd Fantastic staff, especially the lifeguards but the managers have a terrible attitude towards their staff. Especially Charlotte, she's a complete troll. What a let down. Fantastic local pool. Up to date, clean and fresh with friendly and helpful staff. We went in for the family fun swim and the good quality inflatables and warmer training made it fun for all 4 of our kids aged 5 months to 15 years! Three family changing rooms I would say is above the average so not too much waiting. Had a great time in the pool. Unfortunately the manager called Charlotte made the stay worse, she had an attitude every time i talked to her. Luckily the rest of the (lifeguards) were absolutely great. Would rate 5/5 without her. I am appalled, disgusted and repulsed by the actions by some of the here. Their attitude towards customers is vile. They leave before closing because they are too lazy to do the last 5 minutes. The manager is the most rudest there, along with her colleague. She did not care when we complained about their service. worst customer service I have ever experienced and worst i have ever met. I am on holiday in workington so a first time user. The girl on the counter was realy helpful and even Showed me round .i will be going back to use the facilties .
