An incredible engineering feat. There is a really fantastic museum and cafe. Great to around the old harbour walls where there are many information displays about the harbour history. A reminder of the terrible reminders of a tough working town. Great coastal also. The people all very friendly very happy to stop for a chat. Great area to explore. 😊👌 It was wonderful to see the galeon and the food stalls. We had a good day out and the town is a good place to visit. Beautiful especially when the weather is good. A good around. 👍 When we arrived (last Saturday in August) there was a street fair in full swing, with stalls selling every type of food you could want, various types of bands, clothing, jewellery, etc etc. The marina is very pretty & there's a small dog-friendly beach to on. We were unable to get down to the beach on the far left hand side of the marina (looking out to sea) as the cliffs were unstable & liable to subsidence.
