Ahhh what a place. If you do Camino ingles, I recommend staying in presedo to start with. Quiet, neat, easy to find. The restaurant is on a different level. Owners are super nice and friendly, the interior is really interesting, lot of different dishes, amazing prices and everything was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning leaving for our next stretch of the Camino. Just visit the place it worth every penny. Great food stop and perfect for those staying along the Camino in Presedo. Iconic place with his very special owner Alfredo Erias. He is author of amazing book about iconography of gothic churches and author of absolutely beautiful paintings you can see in this place. Was big pleasure to visit restaurant ant meet with the owner. Food is simple and delicious. A very popular cafe on the Camino Ingles with nearly every pilgrim stopping. Good choice of menu and many are here for breakfast / brunch. Prices are a little higher as a result. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Quite a nice stop on the Camino Ingles. Had the tortilla and it was a good size and delicious flavor. Not badly priced with a drink and even a spot to charge my phone. The paintings and information inside were very interesting and I would have liked to stay longer and learn about them but had to keep going! NOT RECOMMENDED! Very unfriendly staff. They all speak only Spanish and don't have the patience to translate something. If you show them a picture on the internet and ask if this is how the dish looks, they just say that the picture is not from their restaurant. The menu is quite generous, but when you want to order most of the dishes are not available. Only the basic ones, like fast food. I'm very disappointed. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT, just maybe a coffee or a beer. Very conflicted over this one. Lovely building with lovely decorations and pictures/paintings. Got the cheese board to share. Tasted great but value for money wasn't there. (Maybe cheese is just very expensive in this area) The "Clara de limón" (beer with lemon) was top tier. Not much of an atmosphere here. Just a few locals blocking the door to the toilet area. (Can walk around another way to the toilets also) Unfortunately, the experience which was OK turned very awful after a member of staff was extremely unpleasant to my girlfriend (who speaks Spanish). Sadly this upset my girlfriend and brought the next couple of kilometers walking into a less pleasant Camino. Personally, I'd recommend to walk in for a look, have a "Clara de limón" and walk on. Buen CamiYes to all. Happy travels. Delicious and such a great atmosphere! A must-try for pilgrims on the Camino inglés for a nice breakfast before continuing on :) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
