Last dinner in the region and was very nice, it is rare to find a place which also has something else as the typical french kitchen , they also have thai kitchen. We went for thai, but the french side looked aslo good. Food was very nice, athmospherr great and doggy friendly as well. Overall worth visiting you wont regret it. Review of Vue Sur Gindo Belinda and I enjoyed a truly memorable lunch today at Vue Sur Gindo. The restaurant is charming – set in a beautifully converted stone building with high timber ceilings, rustic beams, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. It feels authentic and stylish, where you can instantly slow down and enjoy the moment. We started with spring rolls and dumplings—both fresh, crisp, and full of flavour, served with well-balanced dipping sauces. We had a classic Pad Thai and a fragrant beef stir-fry with rice for mains. The dishes were generous, vibrant, and prepared with genuine care. Every bite felt freshly cooked, layered with textures and flavours that complemented each other beautifully. The wine list is thoughtful, and we paired our meal with a Château Lagrézette Malbec – a bold Cahors wine that worked wonderfully with the food. The service was attentive but never rushed, and the pace of the meal was just right. Vue Sur Gindo is a restaurant that marries cooking with a lovely setting, where you’re happy to linger and soak in the atmosphere. We’ll certainly be back and can happily recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a special, welcoming environment. We've discovered this place in February and absolutely loved it! So, on our return to France in June, we had to revisit! Absolutely stunning barn conversion with outdoor terrace, super friendly staff, and the owner. Food is a great fusion of Thai and French of superb quality and freshness! Great selection of wines, too. Highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area, and if not , it is one of those places that are worth the drive to it. We’ve been here twice now and the whole experience is fabulous. The building and terrace are beautifully presented. The Thai and French menus are both delicious and the presentation of the dishes is instagram worthy! For the thai dishes we like the fact that you can specify the level of spice heat, very for the english palate! The cocktails are great too. This is our new favourite restaurant in the area 😊 We chose Vue Sur Gindou (third visit) to celebrate my husband's birthday with the menu at 35 euros. We opted for Thai starters (spring rolls and Tom Yum soup) followed by slow-cooked lamb shanks, and finally desserts (chocolate mouse / sorbet). Each course was full of flavour, well presented and the portions were very generous. The lamb was particularly and the chef explained that she'd used authentic Moroccan spices – a deliciously innovative touch! We found the staff to be attentive and courteous and thoroughly enjoy our experience, as well as the extensive menu with influences from Thailand and Morocco. Outstanding quality and service – highly recommended! For the third year I really enjoyed the kitchen: such a quality of ingredients, such original and creative variations of dishes well known or new to discover. We had a well spiced lobster in the menu for just a little extra, well worth it! From the little bite you receive with your apéritive ( loved the variety of drinks) , till dessert: all wonderfully good. Sometimes the wait is a bit longer but in this beautiful setting ( wauw!) with company that just means more time to talk and enjoy the scene! Nice to see how young people get a chance to learn all about the job. We got served with a smile and individual attention when required, that is real hospitality. Congratulations! We had a fantastic dining experience at Vue sur Gindou. The food was absolutely delicious—from the flavorful entrée to the delightful dessert. I loved the Thai cuisine, and my husband really enjoyed his salmon with risotto and shrimp. The restaurant is spacious, making it perfect not only for a cozy meal but also for special events. The view is stunning, surrounded by colorful roses and lush flowering plants—a true treat for nature lovers like us. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall excellent atmosphere. Vue sur Gindaou is a hidden gem I would recommend without hesitation. We truly hope to return again soon! A delightful place to visit. The team are welcoming and attentive. The menu is varied and dishes are tasty and well presented. It’s a joy to be able to select from a variety of cuisines. Set in beautiful surroundings, the restaurant is a real gem.
