It's a great place with an immense capacity, with bar, a big event room, plenty toilets and huge parking space. I have been here for the 2nd time, on Llanelli Pride as one of the Zumba instructors. This place has so much potentials for hiring for private and public events, concert, shows, fitness classes and more. Also equipped with outstanding technologies which are competitive with London venues too! The reason of 4 stars: this venue needs to have a better air conditioning or air circulation system. During summer it is quiet hard to breathe and have fun when it's a sunny day. The centre located in a nice area, steps away from a little pond and park, and sports fields. The in place to visit in Llanelli for great food, family entertainment & venues for weddings, private parties etc, also lots of day time events for all. The British Isles Indoor Bowls tournament is being held here at the moment, it is a lovely place to hold it. Food and drink available, totally enjoyable. Lovely to relax and watch the best bowlers from the UK and Channel Islands fight it out in an enjoyable game of bowls. Quite quiet in the opening rounds but will get very busy as the tournament progresses, so if you want to come and watch I would phone the Selwyn Samuel's centre to check ticket availability I always enjoy the events that are held at the centre. The annual LGBT+ event is particularly good - taking place this weekend. Whether it’s indoor bowls visiting the cafe, experiencing yoga, booking the Lleidl suite for your small function, attending the BEAN network events including their craft fairs. Various nights include Tribute nights and in the late spring summer you can catch bigger acts in the main arena including the welshfactor final which I judged.
