I visited the Leisure Centre to use the Gym today whilst I was staying in the area. I booked the session online (after creating a free account), and turned up for my session. Staff on reception were very helpful explaining where things were. The gym is very impressive, and absolutely full of lots of different types of equipment, including a whole range of resistance machines and free weights. There are two rooms (the main gym, and an exercise room (which I assume is for classes, but also contains some if you want to break out from the main space). All the was very clean, but some of the is a bit tired, however this is made up for the huge range of there to use. A single walk in session cost £6.40, but I think this is very reasonable for how much there is to offer. Overall, a great experience, and it's a shame I live 200 miles away! Great facilities for all ages and sports. From swimming through martial arts and even kids soft play. Very and modern. Great leisure centre. We came here on swimming competition day so it was rammed. Great little cafe and serving variety of items including hot pasties etc. Viewing gallery is very good and parking is adequate although it was hard to find a space on a competitor on day. Would recommend to anyone Pool renewed! 2 grandparents and 2 granddaughters on a family swim. Very nice. Not too crowded. Only downside was we couldn't go into the small pool as it was exclusively booked by a club (?) Fortunately both girls can swim but it wd have been annoying if they couldn't. I don't think it was made clear on the booking. Is it separate booking for large and small pool now? Excellent facilities. Very , organised. Reception staff need more customer care skills Great chatty, friendly staff. Good place with a disabled toilet, visited for a boccia event. Very pleased with my pleasant visit, would go again if in Carmarthen. Good equipment. I hate the layout. Leg Press and weight apparatus in front of rows and rows of treadmills.. I'm self-conscious , and have to avoid certain machines because of the ridiculous layout... The Leisure centre was amazing, the swimming pools are really big and very clean. The play area for kids is big, colourful and seems really fun, the tennis court is nice and the football pitch is also pretty good, the receptionist are helpful and the entire place is just amazing. Very sad to be writing this review. I have been attending the leisure centre to use gym,fitness and health suite. The have mostly been amazing, some good, and a few poor. The fairly recent introduction of Les Mills are taken by well trained instructors. When these were introduced our fee increased by 4% too and specifically mentioned one of reasons for increasing was the introduction of these classes. In the last 2 weeks we have been told that these are no longer available. Unfortunately, some of the other can be a bit boring and not well thought out. The instructors require more training for sure. Feedback from a number of members have been given over the last year but unfortunately a lot of it has been brushed under the carpet. The clenliness is also not the best and showers in changing rooms are very poor. The gym is very well equipped however. Such a shame as this leisure centre and its have such great potential.
