Love this place, lots in short walk from cafe, ice cream place, beach, the dock, water and grass area and a small kids park. Our favourite is getting the paddleboard and kayak out on the water and race up and down! A sunset with a cold drink and snack is out on the water too! Quieter in the evenings when still light. for walking the dog This is great. We used the kayaks, people paddleboard, swim etc. A family vibe. Park for the children. Really visit. A place to visit, but it needs a bit of a refresh as it's starting to look a bit tattered. Bit windy today it very exposed there, wear plenty of clothes! Nice little Brassiere, café, there that make a decent pot of tea ***** for that. Our two granddaughters loved the play park We've named it after one of my pal's that use to live nearby but has sadly moved on... to Thurso Scotland, so we call it Harry's Park! Definitely visit there soon again! Absolutely stunning spot. Good parking, nice cafe with delish gelato and stunning walk or bike ride along the beach front. Just popped along to see the sea. Had a lovely gelato and nice stroll along front. Vast, stunning sandy beach with well priced, clean facilities, and nestled amongst some of most beautiful scenery in the world. Not too sandy, no sea life which is nice. Lovely for a swim. for outdoor dips, swimming and paddle boarding etc very shallow around the sides if you are not confident. Probably about 7/8 foot deep in middle since they partially emptied it. Facilities not great, there are showers across the road by St Ellis and toilets but bot sure what time they close. St ellis place to warm up after. Fantastic. Like a giant salt water swimming pool. Car park and facilities are right next to the dock. Fave venue for open water swimming along with Langland bay, Gower.
