Amazing place to stay! Lovely host, who made our stay really nice. If you need to relax and want to be in a calm place in the mountains, this is the place to go! It's not a remote place, rather in a small cozy village with nice and friendly people. Lovely rooms from the 14th century. We would go back! El Querol Vell is unique, an amazing boutique hotel. Just seven rooms in a beautiful old Masia, exquisitely renovated and furnished with antiques and lots of enchanting details. Large gardens with many different secluded places where you can eat the incredible food. Breakfast is included with the rooms and it’s truly marvellous, as are the optional dinners. The owner, Susi, is a wonderful person who makes you feel very relaxed and at home. Surrounded by beautiful countryside for long walks, and small villages and places to visit. I can’t recommend it more highly. Well worth going to stay in as a destination, take a a few days, or even just one night, to de-stress and enjoy something unique. Best bed and breakfast ever. Do stay here! Such a homey feeling and a house that seems be coming from another century but with all modern amenities without removing any old auberge charm. The hosts couldn't be more welcoming and nice! They also seem to be coming from another centru where hospitality was much more than being a receptionist. 101% recommended!!
