Bon appetite 🙂😍😍 Restaurant familiar Five km from the highway up a dusty back country road you arrive at this weird little village with a church and a town hall but no homes. The first floor of the town hall is a cantina. Pink walls. Green tables. Olives and pane con tomato appear immediately followed by beans and fries and macaroni and roasted pepper and leeks. And this weird bottle of wine. THEN they take our order (after asking us if we are working nearby... It didn't occur to them we could be tourists. There's a young guy on the next table who seems to have lost an arm in a farm accident. Then the next table is an old couple. That's it). The choices are: lamb, rabbit, beef, chicken. Just the names of the animals. We get rabbit and lamb and they arrive off a grill a few minutes later and damn if they don't taste like lamb and rabbit should actually taste.
