The Pembroke Arms

Salisbury, United Kingdom Pub

One of the Best Places To Visits in Wilton Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The Pembroke Arms is a quiet gem. We ate in the pub, which is a beautifully decorated couple of rooms. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. The menu is deceptively simple but what we ate was delicious. The pie was huge but excellent. Full of meat and gravy. Seriously good. I'm going back. And they really welcome dogs. Lovely people and a great lunch This place oozes old world charm. The room has been recently renovated tastefully and in keeping with its age. Upon arrival you are presented with delicious cookies and fresh milk to make your favourite beverage, including fresh ground coffee. The food is very tasty and the pizzas are excellent. The staff are attentive and engaging. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and need a place to stay We came from London to visit Stonehenge and we decided to go to pentbroke arms as someone I know recommended me this place . Much better than what I could even expect! Amazing service since I walked inside to the moment we left the place . Waitress was very attentive and friendly , great drinks and great recommendations as the bartender had a high knowledge of cocktails! Huge portion for mixed Sunday roast , and very tasty!! Tasty pizzas and great garlic dip !the restaurant itself is so beautiful. We would love to leave closer to come back again, definitely recommended!! The Pembroke Arms is a real gem in Wilton—a beautiful location with plenty of outdoor seating, perfect for sunny days. The menu has loads of choice, from their delicious Thai BBQ to wood-fired pizzas (highly recommended!). Portions are generous—we left with boxes of food to enjoy later. Service was excellent: friendly, personable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We visited for a friend’s birthday, and they went above and beyond, bringing bubbly and a birthday sundae to celebrate. If you’re nearby, make sure to visit before summer’s over—you won’t be disappointed! Only came for the food - would recommend to anyone in the area, especially those visiting Wilton House, as it's a couple hundred meters from the exit. We had a Sunday Roast here - decent price, but for what you get absolutely worth in every sense of the word. Huge portion, great meats, ample gravy, delicious Yorkshires, potatoes and greens, and unlimited refills on the potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire. Generous drink sizes too - an actual pint sized soft drink is a rare thing. Excellent dinner, with attentive, polite and swift service (we were served by Grace). Recommend. A wonderful gem of a hotel we fortunately found last minute and were so glad we chose to spend a night there. Recently refurbished, lovely fresh room in an old established building, very warmly. Food excellent and breakfast plentiful. Would definitely stay here again should we be in the area. It was a real treat!
