A father son day out. The place is packed with vintage and modern cars, the information boards have been well thought out. The has lots of seating and very affordable. All in all a memorable day. Brilliant to the Haynes Motor Museum, it's so much bigger than expected and really well arranged with a walk through guiding you around the exhibits. There's an incredible collection of from the very early days of motoring right through to modern classics. Currently (February 2024) they have a Williams F1 exhibit with five F1 from various eras and a 10 minute film about Williams, well worth seeing. We only had 2 hours there but could easily have spent far longer, the are and there is an onsite café, restaurant and shop. Brilliant visit. Superb layout with magnificent exhibitions. Vehicles set in well ordered displays. Photos of I have owned in the past. Looked like the day I bought them. We spent a really enjoyable few hours here. The were welcoming and very accommodating. We borrowed a wheelchair for this as I was struggling and they were kind and understanding; but I was impressed with the amount of bench’s throughout the museum, for anyone who struggles with mobility there was plenty of places to take a break. The displays were excellent with plenty of information boards. We also went to see the outside where the cats were driven round; again the were and interacted with us. We had a snack in the and it was nice; plenty of seats and freshly made food. There was lots of parking and although it was a very hot day, the was lovely and cool. I highly recommend this for a pleasant day out well that’s if you are like us and love cars!! Absolutely must stop place to visit. Packed with and other exhibits. Every turn you see something that blows you away if you are a car lover. I never thought I would get close to a Ferrari 250 GTO. Exotic alongside every day but all superbly displayed. Special mention to the lights as they make every photo a brilliant shot. What a Place to visit. It was a fantastic trip through the years of motoring with some very rare and lovely machinery to view all backed up with some information Particularly the Williams racing exhibition. Finally a good value for coffee and cake etc... motor with an amazing variety of to view, a must for car enthusiasts. In terms of location: there isn’t much nearby so for people who are visiting keep this in mind, it is a quiet village area with only small amenities. There is a shell petrol station nearby and a McDonald’s right next to it. In terms of Food: the itself offers a which has a decent amount of options. However, the prices are a bit more expensive than if you were to bring a packed lunch or head to the McDonald’s nearby. In terms of car parking: there is ample space at the motor and you shouldn’t struggle to find space, there is an overflowing car park as well if in the case it was full. The itself was great, there is a lot of history behind the place. At the end of the you walk out to the gift shop on site which has some good gadgets etc. The staff: the at reception wasn’t the kindest. However, the in the & the itself were great. For children: they do have a play area in the and if your children are into they will most definitely enjoy it too. Wheelchair accessibility: the entire was essentially ground floor and they had lifts and ramps for any areas at higher ground. Definitely recommend coming here! Although I grew up only 4 minutes drive from the museum, I'm embarrassed that this was my first ever visit. My 14 old daughter and I it so much and the were so friendly. The are so well laid out. Currently on a mission to all motor museums in the UK and this is definitely impressive. Id think about 4 stars as from an interactive perspective as a lot of are tightly packed you can't quite go round the back to really admire some of the beauties on display. I do wish they left driver windows open so you could get good interior photography as well but it has to be 5 stars for the sheer amount of vehicles that are on because that was truly impressive! As an experience as above it could be made much better and possibly more interactive buy allowing space and opening driver windows. Also to note the were really and canteen does offer gluten free. Toilets were clean and the space is modern. This is more of a corporate but doesn't lack the magic. Price is higher but leave name and postcode and you get free entry for a year. Child day out, our 4 old loved it. Plenty of space to run around and intertesting exhibits and activities to keep them engaged. Such a wealth of history and heritage to explore. Absolutely loved visiting this place, I drove 5 hrs there and back and I think it was worth it, at least for me. It's a beautifully clean, modern building. The layout is easy to navigate and has themed areas, Morris, British 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s cars, Red sports cars, racing cars, muscle cars, huge American land yachts, Ferrari, important European and more. And when I was there it had a small Drive Tribe area with 4 and some videos to watch, explaining the cars. I missed the live vehicle display, so I can't comment on that. I was pleased to find the ticket I bought is an annual pass, so I can as many times as I like for a and I got a discount because I bought online beforehand. There's a big restaurant and a gift shop and there are toilets dotted around the area so you're never too far from one. All in all I would again even though it's quite far away. A day out.
