Was served carrots that were not fit for human consumption! Soft and sloppy with brown stains and bug holes. Chicken burger dry and seeming as though it had been cooked twice. Chicken pie one of those horrible lid only on a dish filling was very chunky lumps of chicken with the advertised pancetta missing in action, gravy watery and pastry sloppy under top crust. Waiting staff made everything seem to be too much trouble. Very loud noisy large table of guys with one girl. Been several times previously and was always pretty good £40 odd for inedible food needless to say we won’t be back! Food was delicious and suitably priced! The waitresses were very attentive, with special mention to Alena. The decor was fascinating as well. Called in this lunchtime just a drink but on looking at the menu we decided to stay and have lunch. We had the Hunters Chicken and Fish and Chips. Both meals arrived quickly and they were nice and hot. The meals were really enjoyable. The waitress Alena was very pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, also the other staff we spoke to were very pleasant. We look forward to calling in again and certainly recommend the Three Legged Cross Visited here today and I can't praise this venue enough. The food was exceptional, portions were a great size and the food was cooked perfectly with a lovely variety to choose from. Drinks were wonderful too. Alena served us and she was fantastic, very attentive and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal out and will definitely be returning. Food was excellent and freshly cooked. Our server, Anna, was welcoming, cheerful and friendly. She was also very amusing and added to our enjoyment of our dining experience. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Lots of parking too.
