Also, it's quite steep and scenic. I went there on the Yuru Camp motorcycle. There is a lot of improvement here in the recent few years and there is now a police outpost/station at very entrance to Alfonso. It is Also easy to spot in case you Are on a Nasugbu Bus so you will not really get off at the wrong destination as long as you are paying attention. It is a welcoming sight. Oh by the way the beef is priced reasonably and good quality, so if you are coming from Batangas no need to pass by Mahogany you can see this along the way. Welcome to Alfonso Cavite, as they say, Alfonso is a real hidden gem of the south a nice peaceful and quiet province of Cavite, the climate here is almost similar to that of Tagaytay city, quite cool especially in the evening, I can still recall the kindness of the residents that lived here when I was in my teens, when we invite friends and relatives for the town fiesta held on the last Sunday of January every year. Lots of food to dig in to, just imagine the streets are all lined up with vehicles from various places and visitors all the down to Manilla. Being familiar with the towns local traditions, I advice my friends that it is custom that if the locals invite you to enter and eat at their place try not to turn their offer down, have a cup of coffee or just take a couple snacks of whatever they have to offer on the table and last but not the least have a few chats with them. The local are very friendly and this is their way of expressing and thanking the local patron for the bountiful year. Our house is around a 5 minute walk but would take you around 30 to 40 minutes long to reach during fiesta time, because you need to go from one house to the next, you'll be lucky to jump to the next if no one's outside to invite you, my friends often complain by the time they reach our place not because it took them to long to get there but getting filled up already, is this normal that even if they don't know us they still invite us to come in. I answered, yes as I've said, people here are very warm and friendly.
