We were here for when a thunderstorm struck so we all had to take shelter inside. Decent atmosphere inside and chatting to other folk. Decent prices Limited food options though the prices are quite low. The view is awesome with sea view. Only come here if you find yourself needing lunch at 3pm. It was in a center of Monterosso so it’s easy to find which is I feel it’s kinda tourist trap. The food servings was small and it cost more. Like the bruschetta it cost €7 and I think it’s kinda expensive for the amount of food and the taste. The bacon, egg and break was €9. Not very satisfying for me. But sitting outside is nice. atmosphere, servers were prompt and friendly. We enjoyed drinks, focaccia, and brushetta after an awful experience at another place in Monterosso. We came back to Midi bar twice in our stay. The pasta spaghetti was so good that I almost cried. The olive oil and the amazing fresh bread too amazing to talk about. The espresso was superb and the service was 10 Stars. My compliments to the chef and the owners and the manager and staff! This is my second visit to Italy and I am back to breath taking view and food to match. Chow! location, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Very friendly staff and service. I only wish we had found this place earlier during our stay in Monterosso. Just below the train tracks, near the tunnel. We spent four weeks in Monterosso and had in the afternoons at this bar about 10 times. The young man that runs the bar in the afternoons is amazing. Friendly, prompt and memory for you everything you ordered. It’s really the only place in Monterosso that is more like a pub or bar, rather than a restaurant serving you drinks. They provide complimentary snacks too If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would!! We came for at this bar every night we were there. The waiter, Nicholas is super friendly, funny and overall brings a vibe to the bar! Our always came super fast and were accompanied by a variety of snacks (for free with the drinks). It was also a bonus that it’s right by the ocean. I’d recommend to all my friends and family. If you are looking for a place to have a couple with service and vibes, don’t skip out on this place! PS, the service is so incredible that if you forget anything, Nicholas will literally run with your item (sunglasses, purse, etc.) to give it to you! We saw this happen twice in the three nights we were there! He’s amazing!
