Cette association fait un travail remarquable de restauration, et cela se ressent lors de la visite. Notre guide, parfaitement bilingue, a su rendre cette exploration captivante et immersive, plongeant dans le quotidien des hommes qui ont vécu ici pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La souterraine, à une trentaine de mètres sous terre, m'a permis de comprendre la vie de ces soldats, chargés de protéger la France des incursions allemandes et absolument pas prêt à se rendre. Le temps a filé tellement j'étais absorbé par les détails historiques et le fonctionnement du fort.
