Fantastic but nkt possible to visit Theodoli è un castelletto sito in Sanbuci in provincia di Roma. È tenuto benissimo, è legato molto alla storia del paese. Ci siamo stati oggi per la partecipazione di mia figlia all'evento di arte della musica e della danza denominato Rumore, che itinera in tutt'Italia, oggi l'organizzazione ha scelto questa location, per la semifinale. Veramente azzeccata. Il ha un enorme cui si accede da una grande cancellata. Il paesino poi che gli fa da sfondo merita una visita. Grazie sindaco per l'ospitalità sua e dei suoi concittadini. È stata veramente interessante la visita del Castello. Siamo stati guidati dai custodi che ci hanno illustrato la storia e hanno risposto a tutte le nostrecuriosità del posto. Fantastico e ben tenuto il accanto al castello. Un ringraziamento ai signori che ne gestiscono l'accesso e all'amministratore comunale che ne ha permesso l'apertura. Bellissimo..un pochino de manutenzione però ci servirebbe Palazzo nobiliare in cima al paese di Sambuci, è sede del comune e a volte ospita, nella sala consiliare, eventi, quali, ad es., in estate concerti di arie di opere liriche. Visitabile, offre sale ben conservate e ricche di affreschi parietali. Il si presenta imponente e fiabesco, immerso nel verde di un bellissimo giardino con statue, panchine e fontana. Purtroppo non è stato possibile visitare il perché era chiuso e al sito del comune non rispondeva nessuno, oltre che un forte acquazzone ci ha impedito di continuare la visita nel bel del castello. - THEODOLI - (Sambuci) The Astalli-Theodoli Castle of Sambuci, nestled between the sixteenth-century hamlet and the rest of the old town, looks like a large irregular quadrilateral, with 4 corner towers, developed on 5 levels. It was born as a castle fortress during the 13th century, and then transformed into a manor house in the following centuries. The present architecture is the result of various interventions, extensions, refinements and embellishments that took place in various phases between the XIII and XIX centuries by the proprietary Astalli and Theodoli families. Numerous are the frescoed rooms of remarkable workmanship and beauty; such as the "room of Jerusalem liberated" in the southern tower, the "salon of prospects" and the "salon of the Sun float" on the first floor; still frescoed are a "bathroom" whose ceiling houses the scene of Mose and the miracle of the water and the "Cyclops room". The frescoes were made by Giovan Angelo Canini, student of the Domenichino, commissioned By Cardinal Astalli and his brother Tiberio. Of great value is also the chest of drawers and beams with relief rosettes in black and gold. On the ground floor of the Castle there is the private chapel dedicated to the Archangel Michael. One side of the Castle overlooks the large Italian garden, built from the 17th century and nowadays a municipal park, with avenues, fountains and statues, ranging from hedges and fowerbeds. Walking inside it you can clearly recognize the hedges molded in such a way as to depict the symbols of the two great families owned by the Castle: the three circles of the Astalli and the wheels of Theodoli. Passeggiata con lo scooter, il palazzo è i suoi giardini mancano di manutenzione. Comunque da farci 1 giro. Bel castello, ottima visita guidata con figuranti in costumi ottocenteschi. Peccato che si sia potuto visitare solo il piano terra, il piano nobile e non anche quello per gli ospiti e quello della servitù. Complimenti e grazie a 3° Millennio! Il motivo di questa mia visita alla Villa Theodoli di Sambuci è stato un evento tenutosi in Piazza della Corte. La presentazione di un libro. Prima dell'iniziativa ho potuto ammirare i giardini che fanno parte del del Theodoli, proprietà e residenza di molte famiglie nobiliari tra cui gli Astalli e i Theodoli. Ora bene comunale. Il comprende i giardini a ridosso del e un'altra parte dedicata ad eventi come sagre e feste dove allestire palchi, stand, aree pic nic. Un piccolo giochi. E' un classico esempio di giardino all'Italiana con siepi e fontane. La geometria rigorosamente simmetrica rappresenta le ruote dello stemma dei Theodoli e i tre cerchi dello stemma degli Astalli. L'interno del è altrettanto affascinante con molte sale. Visitabile però solo in determinate giornate accuratamente segnalate. Oppure in occasione di Un giorno a corte rievocazione storica in costume solitamente realizzata a fine estate. Una sorpresa Sambuci e il suo castello.
