Loved the carvery, the service was super fast and I loved that we can pay online while making the order. It’s friendly with cashless payment option so I loved that even more. The staff is nice and friendly and very helpful. Perfect place for Sunday roast, very British :-) Parking was easy. We had carvery, but there were other choices. Although the queue appeared long for the carvery, it moved quickly. Drinks ordered at the table took a while to arrive. The was mostly good, especially the meat and roasters, both of which were very good. I found the cabbage and cauli cheese a bit stalky. is also served during the week, and I would be happy to eat there again. Went in today to look at Christmas for a large group of people. We only wanted a drink and study and availability. Told to wait ! Just wanted a drink and work out etc ! Waited 5 minutes. Lady went on computer joined by another lady. Didn’t acknowledge us we left. Hospitality? Ordered a carvery. There was no mention of sausages. Got into the queue. Can I have a sausage please? I asked. EXTRA was the blunt reply. So what do I do? If I go back to the bar to pay the extra money, then likely I'd have to wait and once paid I'd be at the back of the queue at the carvery.!!!. But I enjoyed the place. Good food and Jessica Monks help with as I have dietary requirements. She was friendly welcoming and brilliant customer service. Chefs also great and polite.. Pizza was freshly made This is by far the friendliest pub I have ever been in, I found this gem a few months back and I just can’t stop going back! We are always met with the biggest smiles, staff make customers feel very welcomed. Service with a smile will always bring back my custom, the food…..honestly I don’t know where to start, the roast potatoes are the best I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything better! Prices are great and the deals are phenomenal. These hard working individuals all deserve credit where credit is due, my son and myself will be customers for life If you’re looking for a welcoming pub with great food and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe, this place is a gem. The offers a variety of tasty dishes at very reasonable prices, and the drinks are just as affordable. The staff are fantastic really friendly, helpful, and always happy to go the extra mile. There’s a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for a casual meal out with the family or catching up with friends. Definitely one of those spots you’ll want to come back to again and again! Food was excellent, everything we ordered was cooked beautifully and the waiting time was very good for a family with young ones & also the accommodating children’s was fantastic and plenty of choices. Atmosphere was just as good along side excellent service staff. Would highly recommend Just come back from holiday, Bristol airport and in perfect time for a Sunday lunch so after dropping off the luggage at home we came up to The Mason’s Arms for what was a lovely roast. Drinks were quick to the table and chef was nice and chatty when he popped out. We got lucky as it was busy but not rammed. Lovely experience and will recommend. Had a lovely meal and evening, the Chef was absolutely brilliant, very friendly staff, nothing was too much for them. Fast service. The was delicious. Will be back, Thank you.
