One of the Best Places To Visits in Roccacasale Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Nice view. But no contents to read .... Not much to see in this village or the castle. Quite a steep walk up. If you're driving past stop and take a walk. Do not drive past the last parking lot. It gets really tight and has a couple curves which are tricky to back through after the road ends. Beautiful little Castello, if you like the history and mountain this is great stop... I think medium fit people can easy do it Amazing hike to the castle with breathtaking views as a reward Views of the Peligna area are breathtaking! Steep hike up but we'll worth it. It's free to walk up. There is a faucet with nice cold drinkable water up there Roccacasale it's a very nice place to visit in the middle of Italy. Nice locals, nice bar, nice views. There are a lot of path to the mountain near the castle and the local politics are very kind to visitors! Very unique and obscure castle located above Sulmona. Thought to be one of the towers used to warn the Romans of invasions from the east. Cool small town with great views of mountains above and Sulmona below. Only 10 minutes from A24 autostrada.
