One of the Best Places To Visits in Ploumanac'h Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Time your visit well as the tides go out a long way. But either high tide or low tide it is a nice calm swimming bay with good Sandy and cafes . Gets busier after 2pm in summer The beach/plage is the most wonderful show of nature. The rock is pink granite (Rose Coast) and has been shaped by the wind into wonderful formations, lagoons and hills. As typical in Breton, it's a bit fickle with the weather so it's a good idea to bring 3 seasons of clothing and it changes drastically. The tides are something to watch for, revealing out of this world landscape when it is out and rushes in like a racehorse when the tide comes back. Stunning and area. Crystal clear waters. Shallow areas to swim in. Perfect for children. Can hire kayak in the bay. Area full of rose granite giant boulders. Lots to do and explore. Day can go by quickly. Parking close by. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Tourist trap, so expect to pay higher prices. Worth the visit. Live jazz music by the hotel bar by the beach. A lovely way to end the day with a glass of your favorite drink and unwind. I can only recommend this place, you can walk besides the coast line, have good food and rooms in a lot of places and simply spend a good time there Very beautiful place with a special light at the end of a sunny day. The shape and the colors of the rocks are amazing and the Coasteres manor in the distance are really very, very nice to see! Very chilled beautiful on the GR 34. As weather was not 100% weather, it was not overpacked. For hot days maybe will be too popular and small for everyone. Had a great afternoon chilling on the sand, hopping the rock formations and the bar terraces nearby. Excellent clambering around at low tide, with space on the for sunbathing or picnic. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and hiking trail to the northwest with gorgeous views. Stunningly beautiful bay. Nice sandy beach. Child friendly. When tide is out it goes quite far out. Regardless, shallow, calm and clean water to swim in. Lots of rose granite outcrops to climb and explore. Worth walking over to the lighthouse and the sea rescue centre to see the amazing views and giant granite stones. A tourist trap. Parking could be a problem, but it's free. Restaurants charge accordingly. Understandable but a shame. A day will go by too quickly here. Settle down near the bars by the and listen to live jazz music with a glass of something nice to end the day. What more could you ask for?
